In a way, this guy started this blog. We were visiting last fall and he asked if I would

sketch him. "Sure why not." I said. I struggled a little to get the proportions

under control and the shading right, however I found a renewed love of 

sketching portraits that I'd lost nearly 20 years ago. I wanted to practice.

So thanks buddy. 

Here he is today, waiting for poutine and watching a rugby game from our table 

at a Canadian pub in Paris called 'The Moose'.
